A Step Towards Nutritional Self-Sufficiency
The project “Big Cow Solidarity” was born after our visit to the Huruma Orphanage, where we identified the need to improve the nutrition of the children.
Our Goal:
To acquire a dairy cow that provides at least one glass of milk daily for each child. With this initiative, we aim to ensure that the children have access to safe food at least once a day, thereby promoting their health and well-being.
In June 2017, we successfully purchased and transported the dairy cow to Huruma, a significant step towards the food self-sufficiency of the orphanage.
Cost of the Cow: 800 USD
